This is written for teachers to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to lead students in hands on science learning.While all of the experiments in this article may be performed as demonstrations, the intention is for many of the activities to be performed by the students themselves, individually or in small groups, under the supervision of the teacher.
Every student in Tanzania should perform practical exercises, not just the few tested on national exams, but the wider range of hands-on activities teachers should employ to build a deep understanding in their students
